Il primo album “Cornerstone” nel 2018, ed adesso è momento di nuova musica e “Boy Oh Boy” è il suo ultimo singolo: chitarra acustica dinoccolata, voce profonda, melodia azzeccata, per un pezzo che lo stesso artista scandinavo indica come “una canzone seriosamente scherzosa su come ti ricordi della tuo essere bambino quando riguardi una vecchia foto“. E quella foto, che figura anche nella copertina del singolo, è anche un richiamo altrettanto divertente a “London Calling” dei The Clash.

Major of Roses llega desde Suecia para contemplar, mediante su canción, un recuerdo bastante original, con una interpretación extraña pero cuidadosa en cuanto a su música. Boy Oh Boy es una propuesta que simula un camino bastante delicado entre la inocencia y la búsqueda de energía por siempre ir hacia más y más arriba. La propuesta de la banda sueca encanta porque su personalidad es única. Tiene el balance perfecto entre belleza y extrañeza, lo cual se describe bastante bien en esa lentitud grave entre voz y ritmo. Es un recuerdo viviente.
